In response to Malaysia’s recent push encouraging work-from-home (WFH) arrangements, leading coworking and flex space provider WORQ has launched its latest campaign, “Work Closer, Work Better,” offering professionals a more productive alternative to working from home.

Running from 8 April to 8 June 2026, the campaign offers a 1-day free trial and 50 per cent off hot desk memberships for new users who sign up for a minimum three-month commitment.
The full-size swimming pool at WORQ Well, Aspire Tower, KL Eco City, offering members a space to recharge and unwind.
While WFH policies aim to reduce commuting time and improve flexibility, many professionals continue to face issues such as limited space, distractions and difficulty maintaining clear work-life boundaries. WORQ’s campaign introduces a “third workspace” solution, bridging the gap between home and office by providing fully equipped workspaces located closer to residential areas.
With 12 outlets across the Klang Valley area, WORQ’s locations are strategically situated within key commercial hubs such as KL Eco City, Bandar Utama and TTDI, aligned with transit-oriented development (TOD) principles, while remaining easily accessible via major transit lines. This allows users to work from the outlet closest to their homes without sacrificing connectivity or convenience.
Under the campaign, individuals can redeem a 1-day free trial using the promo code CUBAWORQ26 to experience WORQ’s workspace before committing. Those who sign up for a Hot Desk membership will also receive 50 per cent off their first month, with a minimum three-month commitment required.
Beyond the campaign offers, WORQ is also extending special “fuel-saver” packages for Dedicated Desks and Private Offices through its sales team. These packages offer more cost-efficient long-term membership options for individuals and teams looking to reduce commuting costs and work closer to home on a sustained basis.
The campaign is open to both new and returning users, with trial redemptions subject to outlet availability. To redeem the free trial, users can visit WORQ’s official booking platform at https://worq.space/event/day-pass/, select their preferred outlet and date, and enter the promo code during checkout.
“While some firms may scale down centralised office space, demand is shifting towards decentralised, flexible workspaces that are easily accessible,” it said.
It noted that new locations within its network have seen strong pre-commitments, particularly in well-connected urban hubs, highlighting the importance of accessibility in a hybrid work environment.
WORQ said many organisations are adopting a hub-and-spoke model, combining a central headquarters with smaller satellite offices or flexible workspaces across multiple locations.
Under this model, co-working spaces play a role in reducing commuting time while maintaining productivity and connectivity.
It cited its “WORQ Well” concept, which includes facilities such as fitness amenities and wellness programmes to promote a more balanced and sustainable work environment.
“As hybrid work becomes the norm, co-working spaces are evolving into a ‘third space’ between home and headquarters, supporting flexibility while fostering collaboration and community.”
