WORQ is offering Malaysian voters returning home, free coworking passes

  • They just need to show their plane or bus ticket or travel itinerary to work for free from any of WORQ’s three coworking locations
  • They are entitled to perks such as free coffee, unlimited snacks and internet access

KUALA LUMPUR, 09 November 2022 – For the thousands of Malaysians who are making the journey back home to vote, it can be a challenge to make sure it does not impact their lives too much. To help reduce their struggle, leading Malaysian coworking brand WORQ is offering free coworking passes during the voting period from 14-18 November 2022.

All they have to do to get access to a Hot Desk at any of the company’s three coworking outlets (WORQ TTDI at Glo Damansara, WORQ KL Gateway at Bangsar South and WORQ Subang at UOA Business Park) is to show their plane or bus ticket or travel itinerary.

“The announcement of the General Election has forced many people to adjust their plans and schedules in order to make time to return home to cast their votes. While some employees may have taken time off to vote, others might not have had the chance to take leave. We understand how difficult it can be to balance your job with the Election, which is why we wanted to ensure that we could provide Malaysians with a secure environment in which to continue working so that they would have one less thing to worry about.” shared Stephanie Ping, CEO and cofounder of WORQ.

We wanted to ensure that we could provide Malaysians with a secure environment in which to continue working."

Simply bring the necessary paperwork to any of WORQ’s three coworking locations, and their on-site employees will assist with accessing a Hot Desk pass. Those who redeem their free pass have access to the many perks of the WORQ coworking spaces, including free coffee, unlimited snacks, and ultra-fast internet access.

Over the past 12 months, WORQ has also grown significantly, with the majority of its four locations (its three coworking spaces and one enterprise workspace) operating at nearly full capacity. They are also in the process of opening their fifth site at KL Sentral, which will take up 36,000 sq ft of space. As of next year, this latest addition, which will soon be located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, will be WORQ’s largest coworking outlet.
