SEEK Asia has recently published a report – Decoding Global Ways of Working with a total of 209,807 respondents from 190 countries. Among the 5,649 respondents in Malaysia, only a 2% increase of workers who want to continue working remotely. If given the opportunity, 68% of respondents expressed that they would want to continue working flexibly between remote and on-site post-COVID.
This combination of working arrangements is also known as Hybrid Working, combining the best of both worlds.
Microsoft’s Work Trend Index survey shows that flexible working is here to stay and 66% of the business decision-makers are reviewing their real estate, office plans, HR policies, tech investments to provide a hybrid working environment. This is not just for real estate planning but also a human resource strategy to attract and retain talents.

The answer is no!
